“When people smoke marijuana, they start to think. They question the government, they question the Vietnam war, they question racial separation, they question why women don’t have rights. The government doesn’t want the youth to think.”

So the government keeps marijuana illegal, because they don’t want the citizens of the United States to think differently and have their own opinion apart from the politicians. Sorry, but our country wasn’t founded on keeping politicians in power. Our country was founded by the guys who thought differently, who wanted different things than the British, who wanted emancipation and freedom from the British government. So I ask you, should marijuana be legal? Maybe a better question is, should we be allowed to think for ourselves?
